Natasha's Law labeling solution.

From the 1st October, any food which is prepacked for direct sale (PPDS) must be labelled with a list of ingredients, including emphasised allergens in bold. This is a major shift in allergen management impacting retailers, schools, hospitals, contract caterers and anybody else that prepares food on site for sale or for employees/users.

The new regulations is a change to current rules where the emphasis is on individuals to ask members of staff for allergen information. Potentially this could be dangerous if staff members are not fully informed. The new law is designed to take any errors out of the process. Therefore before any item is given to the customer, allergen information should be clearly displayed on the packaging.

Our solution to this is the Matt85 printer and tablet which will enable you to become fully compliant.

The Matt85 printer is a direct thermal label Printer designed for the kitchen and compliments DayMark's kitchen automation platform. It has transformed how restaurants, retail food-service, and non-commercial kitchens efficiently and safely prepare food for the public. The system starts with DayMark’s totally secure, server-independent digital distribution platform: the GATEWAY. DayMark’s own cloud based GATEWAY that hosts a number of innovative applications Like the menu Pilot and the menu command system. All software is free once the Matt85 printer is purchased.
